It was a taboo to think of going across the wall.
It was frowned upon if one wished to see what was outside the wall.
Our lives were concentrated on staying inside and staying safe.
Our lives were ruled by fear of extinction, of the unknown and of the dangers of thinking of the outside.
The wall was what kept us and the outside separate. It was what kept out the radiation, the aftereffects of war and the mutated animals and plants out of reach. It provided a shelter for what was left of the human race to strive and regrow. The walls provided a place for humans to scrap off what was left of the world from the ground. It had been 300 years since humanity had been living behind walls and they weren't any closer to escaping their threshold.
However, when a fateful encounter with a proclaimed dead man from the past came tumbling back to the present along with a mysterious stash of papers, Althea starts to question the world she lives in. The past begins to unravel itself as secrets surface and the dead begin to come back to life.

The experiment.
They used my vulnerability against me. They used that weapon, to make me accept their stupid idea. And I of course, accepted it, I didn't even know what they were going to do. They tugged and poked and even shoved their disgusting finger in your wound, just to see you cry. To see you change. No pitty in their eyes. They just continue. They drag you around with metal chains, hit you and turn you into a experiment. But I had enough of the tugging, the clawing, the moaning, the crying and pleading for them to stop, but simply feeding them with our pain. They turned me into something, that neither do they know what I am. Their afraid of me, of my reflexes, my strength. I killed a lot of them. They say I have a cold heart, that I don't feel nothing. August 14, 3044. It was a future where humans didn't have to advance because technology did all the work for them. A future where children couldn't visit their parents after a certain age and you barely know the route through your own house because your teleporting from the bedroom to the kitchen. A world where you're practically mind controlled. It wasn't always like this. Humans used to have diversity and freedom to think for themselves. But on August 14th, 3044 a new species called the Anoch landed on our planet. The humans immediately categorized them as a threat and split the world into two halves by a stone wall. Humans on one side, Anoch on the other. Everyone seems to have adjusted to this change and go on with life as if everything was normal. But not me. I was only six when it happened. It's now the year 3054 and I still find it all strange. The new life the humans have been forced to live. The way the Anoch are treated as if they're some sort of experiment. Also this summary is something to be fixed but until then) A thousand years ago the extermination of Earth from unknown circumstances brought about the end of humanity for the planet. The end of animals, most of nature, technology and everything that advanced in between. After Earth's destruction a new life began with the survivors of the near extinction of humanity. They constructed a singular civilization encased in a wall for protection from outside forces, built on the hope to reproduce and thrive with the life they were forced into. Zykard would be the start of a second life for humans But within that time of rebirth some of the survivors surged with horrors of Pre-Reearth. Heresy, treachery, riots, thefts, murders and revolutions. A need to for order was introduced, and brought about the leader of Zykard and seven factions of ten people. A thousand years later theres a change. An outsider appears and seemingly becomes the new leader of Zykard, bringing more hardships with their hopes. Crimson, a seventeen year old girl faces the verge of adulthood. The final trials being the only gap between her new reality. A new injection to be given to everyone after the trials. She will face the ugly second face of what Zykard really is behind the curtains. Face pain she never thought would be possible and lose what she loves the most.
