The Favor [Magcon]

"You want me to do what?" Matthew asked me, confused. He locked his phone and set it down on the granite counter.

"I need you to help me make Nash jealous." I said more slowly.

"Why? Because you've had this huge crush on him since like eighth grade?" He quirked an eyebrow at me.

"That's exactly why," I sighed.

"Avery, I'm pretty sure he already has a crush on you." He admitted, which made my eyes light up.

"Really?" I asked and he nodded. "But I still need to know for sure. . .I promise it won't last long. If he acts jealous or just admits that he likes me, then it'll all be over."

"So you're saying that you want me to pretend to be your boyfriend and try to get one of my best friends jealous?" He asked.

I could tell he wasn't sure about this; neither was I. "Yeah, that's exactly what I mean." I said, biting down on my lip harshly. "I mean you guys are going on tour soon and since Bart invited me to tag along I kinda thought it'd be the perfect place. . .please Matt, I promise not to let things get out of control."

He sighed heavily. There was a long pause of silence and I almost began to loose hope, but finally he said, "Alright."
