Batman: Vengeance

The third installment in Ben's Batman series.

When his parents were gunned down in front of him, young Bruce Wayne resolved to rid Gotham City of the criminal element that took their lives. He trained to achieve mental and physical perfection; in addition to mastering the martial arts, detective techniques, and criminal psychology. Dressing as a bat to prey on criminals' fears, he fought crime with the aid of specialized gadgets and vehicles, operating out of the secret Batcave down below Wayne Manor. This third story line introduces us to Victor Fries aka Mister Freeze, and the venomous Bane. One of the most brillant scientific geniuses humanity has ever known, Victor is a immensely gifted researcher in cryonics and cryogenics having used his specialized expertise in that field to create powerful cryogenic weaponry as well as using it to preserve the life of his dying wife to drastically slow down the deteoriation of her incurable disease. However, when something goes wrong and a freak accident damages Victor's physicality and life, he seeks vengeance. Permanently altered to survive in a subfreezing state, his body is enhanced with with a special coolant system installed into his body. As that rages on, a familiar face shows up, proving to be Bruce's match physically. Returning key characters include Alfred Pennyworth, Commissioner James Gordon, Lucius Fox, Dick Grayson, and Vicki Vale.
