My entry for Netflix's contest. I'm obviously not gonna win but I was bored out of my wits. Warning: may or may not be angsty.
Okay, so this is dedicated to my friends, two of which are on here in the names of @CherryCharcoal and @FrenchFryDwarf and please, go check them out if you have the time! They're great people. The unnamed character in the story may or may not be me. I won't spoil it though, lol. It is exactly 500 words long, phew. I was so indecisive for the final words, haha. The author loves to chat in the comments! :) Contains mentions of dark themes such as; self harm and disorders.

While most could have been cared for and nurtured until they grew into fully fledged books, they have only matured halfway, creating a efficient way to get stuck in your head. I'll also post short stories that I may or may not try turning into novels. From "The Kid is Hot Tonight," a story about such topics as high school parties and domestic abuse. Worth the Risk
August & Colin | WRU series | book 1 We take risks. We make mistakes. We lie. We love. We hurt. We lose total control. I took a risk. I paid the price. I made a mistake. I felt the guilt. I lied. I lie. I loved. I try not to. I hurt. I still do. I lost control. I'm losing again. I try to stick to my plan, I try to follow my rules, I try to silence my heart, I try to keep control of the domino stones that represent my life. But one domino fell and the rest just followed. *** "We shouldn't do this," he whispers against my lips. I should applaud him for having the strength to act on that thought because I haven't been able to. At one point I wanted to, but his touches made the impulse to stop vanish. He nudges my nose before placing a featherlight kiss on my mouth. His hands slide over my jawline, his thumbs slowly caressing my cheeks. He gives me another kiss. Slow and deliberately, as if he's still debating the answer to my question as he slicks his tongue over mine. He softly sucks on my bottom lip, dragging it with him when he pulls away. COMPLETED✔ "w-who are you?" I'm about to turn the lights on when someone covered my mouth with his hand and the other hand pulling me in the wait. With my heart almost out of my chest, I try to free myself but he's just too strong for me to do anything. I try to scream but I'm disappointed when a weak and tired scream escapes my lips, nobody will here me. He's too strong for me to escape, I feel very small. He's holding me tightly as if he wants to break me, right here and now. He pushes me and I end up hitting my head against this hard wall and my vision blurs. It hurts. So much. I no longer have the strength to do anything, I just stay on the ground. The room is so dark that I don't even know who he is. "Shit." I hear him say in a low voice. Who is he? He walks forward and kneels down in front of me, caressing my chin with his hand and just like that, there's darkness everywhere and I can't feel or hear anything. ~~~~ Cassie is a sweet and pretty seventeen year old girl, doing her last year in highschool. Being sexually assaulted by a person she has never seen, her life becomes harder and bitter when she becomes pregnant after that. Being a strong girl she is, she starts finding clues to lead her to the person behind everything. Will she succeeded? ~~~~ "Mommy? My friends were asking me where my daddy is.. Two broken souls in the midst of a crazy world. Two souls running away from their past. There was no light at the end of the tunnel. The tunnel was cracking, slowly closing in. When these two connect, as if they were set on the same path, light creeps in through the cracks, and for or a moment, the tunnel seems to have a way out, but what if it collapses before they make it? - "You saved my life." The words come out as a whisper, I've been dying to say that. I thank god every day that he came into my life when he did. "Fuck Vivian, you don't know how much I needed you." I tear up just a little as he speaks, I don't know the last time I cried happy tears. I bring my hands up to cup his cheeks, resting my forehead against his. I wrote this story because I feel like we all have to conform to be how society wants us to be, when that's not who we really are, sometime in our lives. But we all have an escape. Sometimes it's through music, reading, friends, or whatever. Jane's escape comes through a boy named Mystery who helps her grow and flourish who she really is.
