The United States are in ruin. For two years, humans bribed by the evil have torn apart the country, slowly replacing their own kind with the green-eyed Others. Those who haven't been converted to Others live in the wild that has become of the land of the free, isolated from any outside help. Liliana is among them. She takes up an offer not easy to come by for a Patriot, a Pure, of her age, sinking herself into a brutal turmoil that she can't prepare for. Plans are learned, strategies are formed, and the unimaginable occurs in the midst of it all. Warning: This book is not finished, and I'm not sure if I will finish it but I'm going to leave it up until I decide if I'm going to finish it or not.

FEEL

This is a novel for the brokenhearted. For those who can't stand the state of the world: the division, the hate, the money-over-everything mentality, the relentless push for more, more, more. The story confronts harsh realities-our dying planet, oligarchy, struggles with suicidal thoughts. If these trigger you, proceed with care, but you might find unexpected solace in sharing this journey with others wrestling with the same awareness. Because while I write of darkness, I also write of love, friendship, and perseverance. We are all in this together... like it or not. I post 5 chapters every Friday. I look forward to your thoughts! Synopsis: In a world where compassion has become a liability, Dr. Noonie Reyes studies what remains of human connection from the sterile safety of her laboratory. In our near future of environmental chaos and societal collapse, the System-an oligarchy ruling through surveillance, manipulation, and the illusion of choice-has perfected humanity's slow emotional starvation amid the ruins of civilization. Beyond the walls lies the Waste: scorched landscapes, desperate survivors, and a truth the System cannot contain. When a mysterious contagion escapes from the lab, Noonie becomes patient zero for something unprecedented-the return of empathy. As the infection spreads, transforming a corporate politician in a public display that shocks the nation, the System's architects realize their control is threatened by something they never anticipated: feeling itself. While authorities scramble to quarantine compassion, Noonie's awakening draws her into an underground movement fighting for humanity's emotional resurrection. With each new connection, she uncovers the true price of isolation and the revolutionary power of remembering how to care. In this haunting debut that echoes Orwell and Atwood, one woman's contamination becomes an entire society's salvation, asking: What remains human in us when we've been engineered to feel nothing at all?
