Writer's Block
"It's the most rough, depressing, irritating feeling I've ever experienced but I also feel excited because then I know a breakthrough is coming very soon. Scenes begin to play in my head...yes they are scattered but that's the beauty of my writing process it's a puzzle - I love puzzles- and I get to put the pieces together. The edges are already glued in place all I have to do is fill it in!"

What can I say "about" this blog. It may enlighten but it may also confuse or bore you. It depends on YOU as a reader and the subject I pick at hand.
I am not trying to teach anything whatsoever! I don't care to teach. I just like to share common ideas, themes, intellects, and so on.
At times, yes, this may seem like a random blog and it very well may be. However, I will rein in the subjects I touch on. And it may start off slow in the beginning but...bear with me...if you please.
As you can see the name of this blog is basically the "About" that you need to know. Focusing on The Written Word, such as, books, plays, quotes, other blog posts, etc. and also The Spoken Word, such as, movies, TV shows, videos, etc.
At times, yes, it may seem as if I've turned into a film or literature critic but I assure you It's only temporary.
So enjoy, hate, love, or wonder about The Written and Spoken Word.

Evolution
There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here. The things we say will tell us everything that is wrong. You are worth more than what you think you are. It's not your fault. If they tell you otherwise, get out. Burn the bridge. Always remember someone is waiting for you to walk into their life. Someone needs you. Someone loves you. Getting away from all of the wrong people and finding the right ones could save you. I can promise you right now that it saved me. These are the journal entries and selected poems from my first experience of love that left a unpleasant taste in my mouth- quite literally. I am putting this out for the whole world to see because I hope everyone will learn from my experience. People can see. We have no excuses to continue living our lives in ignorance. ...WARNING... Settling Slowly
2015 rolled in with a bang, and it did not have the grace to gift me with a social life that everyone in a one hundred year radius would be jealous of or that is even just the talk of the town. Instead I got myself into a complicated relationship which wasn't much talked about, a relationship that I didn't get into is talked about all the time and university is around the figurative corner. That is where you can factor in people I suppose I should call 'fans', the fascination that comes in with cutlery, pots, pans and other formerly boring things. But let us not forget that my parents are finally getting married and Mum can't shop for lace without me wanting to kill her, add in a dose of sleepless nights, invigorating kisses - which have nothing to do with the sleepless nights and a lot to do with nightmares - Harriet not knowing the meaning of the words "you're done" and Ice Ice Baby is still a thing. We're all growing up (except Dad who will still make inappropriate jokes at every inappropriate moment, some to do with what cannot be done when you're wearing a plaster cast) and holidays are being planned though some are less holiday and more a mad dash to find somewhere to live out in the big wide world without our parents. Did I Ever Love Her ?
I write, what I see around me I pen, what is experienced by me I express, what is felt by me. Presenting a cut of my experience and sights from today's generation by the teen-gen. What is love - is it an inheritance or a noble cause of mankind ? What happens when a guy falls in love and what changes around when a girl feels being loved ? Stories of the gods and goddesses, the cult romantic movies, the nature inducing within the nature are itself great examples of love and what happens when love takes a form. Coin can be tossed in the name of love where the one side will have care, affection, romance, wonder feels and what not but one who dares to love shouldn't ignore the other side of it - the hate, lust, insecurities, compatibility, past and so on. This is a story of a guy who went onto many paths with a verse of romance in hand and love logic in the other. Did he ever love her whom he thought will be his? Or he himself was obfuscated about true love and life lessons? Dive into a romantic tale of a teen age era as it goes up and at any point of time, it can fall. "What the fuck is your problem?" I asked my sworn enemy. "Have you lost your damn mind!" I scream at the top of my lungs. This bitch better answer me before I lose my shit. "HELLOO!" The Best Kept Secret!
They say what's in the past keep it in the past but I wanted to know all about my past. It was things that I didn't know and that I wanted and needed to know! But my life turned upside down when my past is exactly what I should have left alone. Now if you ask me how it all began, I don't exactly remember but I know it started when I moved in with my grandma who I haven't met in all my twenty years of living. I have been in and out of foster homes since I can remember, living with families I knew nothing about. Being the outcast and them constantly asking me what's wrong because I simply did not speak. The only thing that kept me sane was my good grades throughout school. I got the satisfaction of doing the one thing that people kept telling me over and over I couldn't do. I stayed to myself and graduated high school with honors, getting a full-ride scholarship to any college of my choice. Of course, by having this accomplishment, it didn't make it any easier for me between my foster families. To them, I became the girl who was better than them. But I didn't care because when I turned twenty I finally got to start making my own choices. This is where I wonder if the first choice I made was the right one. The first choice I made was to go live off-campus with my grandmother during my first semester in college. I ask myself how could I be so stupid? But you will see just how stupid I was.
