Losing Bad

Callie Bronet grew up in the small southern town of Logan Creek down in South Carolina. When she was in her sophomore year of high school she caught her mother engaging in a secret affair, one that destroyed the family. In a town where everyone knows everything about everyone, the secret affair didn't remain secret for long, Callie's family was now looked down upon as a disgrace causing Callie to loose all hope and become what the town thinks she is. She takes up smoking, drinking, piercings, etc. She continues in a downward spiral until her parents can't take anymore and send her to a juvenile camp to control her newfound bad behavior.

Now returning to Logan Creek after two years, for her senior year, things have changed - her parents seem to have a stronger bond than ever, but the tension between her and her parents never left... making a stronger appearance than before she left.

Will Callie continue her old life style? Or will she try to calm her urges to resort back? Will her urges become stronger when she runs into an old and familiar, by very special friend in her schools parking lot?

Derrick has always been an average student, a player on the varsity football team, and somewhat of a bad boy. Derrick used to have a past with Callie before she left, so what happens when he abruptly meets Callie in their school parking lot? Will he leave her be? Or will he push Callie to accept her urges and embrace her old life style; the one that got her sent away.

Callie must decide who she really is - is she the honor student she was before she discovered her mother's affair? Or is she the badass she became after the fact?

What happened between Derrick and Callie in their past? Will they continue to question each other? How will their "reunion" go?
