I slammed the table loudly and groaned out of pain. Not only the pain from the headache I was having right now. But also from the memories flooding my mind as well. The second story in the series! Part of the 'Unwounded Future' series/AU whatever you want to call it. Set shortly after 'Professor Layton and the Conspicuous Organisation.' The Professor has returned from his adventure in America! But what exactly was he doing there in the first place? The Professor has noticed people have been disappearing from the streets of London, making it much more quieter than it usually is. 'Professor Layton and the Politician's Wrath' explores Layton's adventure in America as well as how Luke and Flora can solve mysteries by themselves, without their mentor. Also features returning characters such as Bill Hawks. Shortly after stopping Cyrus and defeating Targent, the Professor and gang decide to relax at Clive's house, where Layton talks about how great everyone was solving the mystery, especially Luke and Flora. But something is on the Professor's mind. The streets of London have been quiet. Very quiet. Layton thinks this is strange and that something is causing this event of silence.
