The Professor has noticed people have been disappearing from the streets of London, making it much more quieter than it usually is. 'Professor Layton and the Politician's Wrath' explores Layton's adventure in America as well as how Luke and Flora can solve mysteries by themselves, without their mentor. Also features returning characters such as Bill Hawks. Shortly after stopping Cyrus and defeating Targent, the Professor and gang decide to relax at Clive's house, where Layton talks about how great everyone was solving the mystery, especially Luke and Flora.
