The year is 2006 in the city of san diego California. A  young teenager name Nae who just started her freshmen year was given a diary from her brother as a birthday gift. Her high school is known for its history of urban violence & neighborhood crimes to get through all of the drama Nae writes in her diary based upon her deepest thoughts, experiences & secrets! Nae has a Bestfriend from 8th grade. Both of the girls made a promise to stick together by attending the same high school with plans of graduating together. A couple months later a new female transfer student attends her high school Oddly! The transfer student has all classes with Nae also, she also an older brother whose  widely known for his popularity in music and football. Is this guy just naturally talented in everything? will both of the girls befriend the transfer girl and her charming brother? or will there be drama between friendships along with a spice of romance? For the booksmart yet naïve 16-year-old Nicky, high school in her quaint little hometown island in the Philippines had always been predictable. Until that senior year. Nicky thought she got things all figured out. She'd be very good at school and be the valedictorian of the single-section class of 2010 of the highly looked-up science high school in their island. And then, she'd get a full scholarship to her dream university. All was fairly well except for a few things like grappling her feelings towards a long-time crush. Just when Nicky thought she could get through high school without too much boy-drama, a somewhat seemingly love life with a boy or two and suddenly, maybe even three was finally catching up with her during the last few months before high school graduation. She had never thought she could be wrong about a person.
