For Shay her sister betrays her turning to her worst enemy. The man who was like a father to her gets murdered on a brutal attack her sister helped orchestrate.

"Princess Valerie Joy Collins." The name was like a slap in the face for me but I didn't let any emotion show. I ignored her as she strolled happily up to the dais beside me. 

"Hello sister." She chirped happily at me. She was wearing a dress much like the one that had been given to me and I hadn't worn it, glad now that I didn't. I kept ignoring her unimpressed with how normal she was acting as if she hadn't betrayed me and all the other clans. 

"Look at this, a family reunited. How touching." Stefan said mischievously  holding his hand to where his heart should be. 

"Very." I said sarcastically surprising everyone around me with my bluntness.

Aurora opens her eyes only to feel the agonising pain in her body. That is to be expected when there has been an accident. It's excruciatingly painful. Medea has finished her work, but she is still unsure how to fix all of the messes. She hasn't been herself in a long time, and it's bothering her. The throne seems so far away, and the weight of the burden grows heavier with each passing day. A letter from the Imperial Palace has arrived, instructing the Duchess to look after the House of Smith's Duchess of Light, Natalie Wilson Smith. Until one day when her husband used her sister and uncle as scapegoats. Seeing her beloved uncle being killed and her sister being next. She ran over and blocked the blow for her sister. Seeing this Zan Cui picked her up and ran away with her into the forest behind the royal palace. But they were never able to escape, so Zan Cui, picked up a treasure that she found. That would grant 1 wish for a price, she used it hoping that it would send them back before everything started.
