Violet Scales

I'm Sasha. Most people, on their fourteenth birthday, would have a party, or a cake, or be given a present or even just a card. I got much more than that. I don’t know whether to love it or to hate it, but it’s been given to me and I can’t escape it. Have you heard the stories, of great beasts roaming the land, billions of years ago? Of course, what first springs to mind is Dinosaurs. What if I said 15 years ago? Well you would say 'there wasn't any huge animals, except for Elephants of course.' That would be the wrong answer. You may have heard of them in story books, or seen them in ancient paintings or even on a flag. On my fourteenth birthday, I became a dragon.
