Day After Day

I wake up every morning, and I have to figure out who I am. Not just by my physical features. I can easily see wether my skin is dark or light, wether I have long or short hair, and wether I'm short or tall, girl or boy; which is the easy part. Waking up, knowing my name, what city I'm in, am I happy or sad; that there is the harder part. Waking up and finding someone enveloped in my arms and knowing what to say and do is the harder part. It's always been like this. Waking up in a different body every day, a new life, taking a persons life for nothing more than 24 hours, and leave. Never get attached; one simple rule.
