Clarisse is an utter astronomy nerd. She loves not only the science behind the stars, but also the more abstract truths the stars hold - that everyone around the world sees the same little pinpricks of light in the sky, and that hundreds of years ago, some of those stars were still shining brightly, inspiring interesting constellations.
