Mark Tiller gathered all of the villagers and said his most famous For the Freedom of Triston speech.

" Don't you think that it's about time we stopped this suffering. That it's about time that we thought about our children's future. Are you willing to remain silent after what had and is happening? Are you, all of you, willing to let them slowly take your rights, freedom, hope, YOURSELVES for God's sake! Are you? We are aware of ourselves dying a slow death, yet we still do nothing as our power slips away from our hands! What we do is that we go knocking on their doors, begging them for food, that was grown on OUR land and that is rightfully OURS!"

" But they'll kill us!"

" Are you afraid death? After all that had happened to us? You're afraid!? We have been in touch with death, seen death, spoke to death! They say that if we die, we go to hell. I'm perfectly good with that. In fact I hope that I go to hell so that I can see them with us there. So what's there to lose? We have no property, so nobody's house is going to be destroyed. We have no food, so nobody's going to starve even more than now. We have nothing to lose. As Simple as that. If we lose loved ones after we try to overcome the people controlling us, then they died a noble death. They won't die from starvation or diseases. They will die for their country!"

" Yeah! We have nothing to lose!"

" This suffering is worse than death itself!"

" May we see you at hell you bastards!"

" Even if we get caught in our first oppression against the system. We will keep going on until none of us is left standing! This isn't only to change our Present, it is to change our Future! For the Freedom of Triston!"

" For the Freedom of Triston!" The whole crowd cheered as happiness and a chance of hope bloomed in this meeting room that roofed the villagers of Triston.

Book Two: They encourage, not the realists and the brave, but the gullible and the fragile, those too weak to fight back. They massacre lower and middle-class citizens once every month to control the growing population through a method called Cleansing. They rid of all music except modern pop to eliminate diversity, keeping only one artist from each state in the music industry. They stop anyone from going in or out of the country and kick out all those not born within the now-armed borders. And that's just the beginning of what they call "The Great Reformation," the grand change of the United States government and all of its operations. All because the United Kingdom has turned against the nation and declared war, or so President Nathaniel Carter says. Carter, as the dictator, begins to tell citizens certain things, things that Ryan Tedder and his bandmates, Zach, Eddie, Brent, and Drew, don't actually buy. After all, physicist Niels Bohr once said, "The best weapon of a dictatorship is secrecy." Along with this chaos, Ryan is trying to deal with the stress of Ramona becoming distant due to her past reappearing, and the new rules and regulations making his career walk on a tightrope. The national anthem may say otherwise, but the United States is no longer the land of the free and the home of the brave. Not with the new government. Ryan and the other guys are determined to dig through the lies and find the real reason why. © 2016 by Verona Rohellec. Second installment of the Blooming Passion trilogy. Complete. Mature language. Extreme violence. Sensitive topics. Highest Rank(s) - #1 in Totalitarianism (tag) (nice!), #1 in Ryan Tedder (tag) (yay!), #3 in OneRepublic (tag). Thanks to libellule_ for the AMAZING cover! Another to Kim A. for helping with the trilogy's plot. And a thanks to the dedicated members of the OneRepublic fandom who read and give so much support!

WARNING: this book includes blood, manipulation, cursing, and mature topics (not smut please don't think that). Feel free to click off if any of these make you uncomfortable. ~•~ Something about it was so mysterious about this cave, and I wanted to know more. I entered the cave and saw a red crystal sealed in ice. "Woah." I whispered. The crystal glowed and the ice shattered. I jumped back and fell to the ground, watching as the ice broke completely. My eyes widened and I looked at my hands. "Did I do that?" I asked, but before I could answer, I heard a guard shout for backup as they had heard the ice shattering. I quickly jumped up and stashed the crystal in my pocket before leaving. I crept to the cave the following day, putting the crystal back into the remains of the ice pillar. As I walked away, the crystal fell, causing it to break into a million pieces. I jumped at the sudden noise and stumbled backwards, my eyes widening as a black smog formed around the crystal. "No, no, no, no! Frick." I desperately tried to grab the remains of the crystal, causing one to cut my hand. "Ow! Shit." I whispered, looking at my bleeding hand. "Tch, tch, tch, poor child." A demonic voice said. I looked up and saw that the black smog had two red eyes and a wide, sick smile that was dripping with venom. "I- who are you?" I asked, backing up. "The one who can help you out of here." It said, stretching out a hand. I looked it up and down and before I could answer, its hand plunged into my heart, causing me to scream out in pain. Please be warned:This Tragedy is not for people who prefers escapisam. There are no happy endings here. This is a Tragedy. This is for those that are broken. This is for those that are shatterd. You have been warned. So, proceed at your own peril. Now..for those that stayed...welcome my dear brothers and sisters to the greatest tragedy of your life. They came for me, when i had let my guard down. Even though i had expected the empire of the monsters and its accursed emperor to come at me with everything they had. They came for me when i had least expected them too, in a way i had least predicted them too, using the methods and tactics that made them, and made him for who he is. See...Peace can do that too a man. Hope can do that too a man. Light can do that too a man. It can make you lower your guard down. Even though i had honed my fists and mind, i would and I should not have lowered my guard down. Because i had done so, the people i cherished the most-the men and women of the cold valley, suffered for my negligence and my incompetency. And worst of all my little brothers and sisters paid them, with their future and their innocence. By doing this they caused a bloody war. By taking from me they instigated a bloodshed. and either of them they should not have done. For they should have learnt from their mistake long ago, it was not mercy that made me give their, and his life back to him-it was anger. pure and fresh in very format and flavor. And the thing about any war, and the thing about any battle, is that the demons are always the one's to dominate. Because they are the incarnation of carnage and death. My name is of no importance. But the moniker, and the epithet called The Demon of the Cold Valley that i use is of the greatest of significance. So this is my tale. This is my tragedy. But most of all this is my conquest, and pursuit of justice.

Strands of your mind cling together like web to a slippery leaf bathed in the morning dew. You have seen both heaven and hell, witnessed the atrocities of war firsthand, and imagined a better life in the deepest, most intimate corners of your dreaming spirit. The wishes for peace and certainty you have once so desperately longed for, now lay trampled underneath the might of your mind's vivid horrors. What was once so bright and lively, now cowers in fear, clinging to gone memories like a shipwreck survivor to some lowly piece of driftwood. From the depths of hell, you arrived victorious, grasping the laurel wreath high above your head. Unrecognizable, with your empty eyes telling a story of innocence brutally taken away from the child curling in shame in the depths of your empty soul. Almost green you are, curly head, having grown up with a rifle by your bedside table, never knowing peace and quiet. Out of the pan that was the Kazdel Civil War and into the scorching flames of Lungmen, where life flows by on its own accord, here, you must learn to live once more. So put on your best facade, Let the reuniting trumpets ring a wild, And allow the city to swallow you whole. Here we are, a continuation of my previous work "Goodbye Curly Head", which sprawled into quite the epistle (but it wasn't really a letter, it's just long :P). Summarized in the most basic way possible, it's a story about a twenty-year-old Kazdel Civil War veteran who goes to Lungmen and has some troubles acclimating to the steady life presented before him. Sprinkle in a too-good-to-be-true offer and a freshly established logistics company, and you get Andy trying to make it big for as long as his deteriorating mental state lets him. I'd say it works as a standalone story for anyone who doesn't want to bother reading the first part. For now, at least. As always, please, pwwease leave a comment, positive, negative, I LOOOVE reading and replying to comments!!
