Outside the walls
War had just broke out between the states of America. Two states remained. Yet only one wins. One state had won by peace and one state had won by destruction. The day of the fight, the state of distinction launched a nuke. Yet they had under estimated the power the nuke had. It destroyed both states and it had seemed that no one remained. 3 years latter and a little city had grown out of the destruction. Emma was a resident of that city. Emma had a different childhood than most. "Go fetch the food!" or "Go get the water!" Were the most of chores she had to do. It was grow up fast or die in her city! On Emma's 17 birthday she would be old enough to go out side of the city walls and look for communication to other parts of the world. They had found a part of a cell tower that would finish off there hand made cell tower and needed a search crew to go get it and bring it back. Emma now being old enough she tried out. She had never been outside the city walls. We're most of the adventures have already gone once or twice. Most people have said that they should not send the youngest age, and they just might be right... because Emotions, Guys, and family are all in her way.Complete
Life Or Story ?
This story kind of explains why I have problems finishing stories, u have ideas then it like how do I make them not so cliché or cringe worthy. A short story with a semi finished ending, it leaves me a bit of wriggle room to add to, if I decide to. Any similarities or references are purely for fiction and I did not base this story on anything except if the third world war started. It is fiction people. Humanity had a dream to Explore and conquer the oceans , But that all changed when an unknown enemy appeared known as the "Sirens" humans were pushed out of the Seas by the Sirens advanced weaponry and humanity began to descend into a Dark age. Siren attacks had become frequent enough that humans were on the Brink of annihilation. However one Day humanity found a way to fight back against the other worldly threats, using mysterious objects known as wisdom cubes, the K.A.N.S.E.N. were created from said cubes. With the power of Warships embedded into their bodies, they allowed humanity to fight Back against the Sirens and begin to reclaim what was once lost. But divisions in beliefs on how to deal with the Sirens, threaten to obscure the original threat they came together to fight and turn humanity and its protectors against each other, either caused by Siren influence or the actions and beliefs of major nations leaders, or a little bit of both, one thing is for certain. No matter when or where it happens.... War, War never changes. However sometimes all it takes is a small change somewhere, a Flap of the wings of a butterfly, an Action taken, or an Action not taken. The Smallest changes can Alter how history will play out. The Bigger question I would like to Ask... What will be the catalyst that starts the winds of Change THIS time? All contact was lost when the last human army was encircled and destroyed in the arctic, no human contacts have ever been reported since the last army. His home was in a small town that was populated by no more than 30 people, and nearby was a cryogenics testing facility in the form of a vault. The company that owned it, Vault-Tec, was a government-funded organisation that worked to find ways to preserve human life in the case of global disaster: environmental, nuclear, or otherwise. Due to Y/N's service history, he was allowed into the vault during the nuclear warhead exchange between America and China, and that's where our story starts. You died. I mean, it happened quite a bit during your lifetime. It wasn't anything different. However, instead of you waking up in the barracks again, you found yourself in a very odd place. A place where skin and fur were the same thing. "I hope I don't die too many times here." The Hazards of My Chosen Profession (on hiatus)
Michael also known as "Wolf" (because of a patch he wears on his kit and helmet) is a member of what was the 75th Ranger Regiment. He finds himself a veteran of a war between humanity and anthros. While he doesn't exactly hate them he doesn't exactly trust them either despite their efforts to rebuild the relationship between species. Unfortunately a good chunk of humanity and anthro kind was wiped out due to the war. But due to the anthros ability to reproduce faster they were able to recover much faster leaving humanity at a loss. Michael finds himself alone and on the run from a one of the most dangerous anthro militaries (at least to humans), known as the Obsidian Front. They continue to hunt down and kill humans forces despite the end to the war, causing proxy wars and often large scale skirmishes between them and remaining human militias.
