Gerard sees things differently to other people around him. He is not understood, or easily so, although he doesn't mind. He much prefers to abide largely behind his skull. He much prefers the universe inside his head over his own actuality. He much prefers his frequent episodes of, not accordingly, drifting into fantasies of super villains, sorcery and extra terrestrial beings. He much prefers to simply think. Perhaps this will come of use to him when an incurable disease breaks out - taking humanity with it - and it is only him and his new found friend, Frank, in a battle against an entire growing legion of the undead. And perhaps, just perhaps, Frank will coincide to become a lot more than a friend to Gerard. Perhaps this will create more anarchy inside Gerard's head than every aspect of the apocalypse combined ever could.
