Isabella Duke is a Junior that wants nothing to do with high school. She is always being bullied for an unknown reason. The bullies notice her little crush on Luke Jacobs, the most popular guy in the school district, and they are committed to teasing her about it until she is pushed past the emotional breaking point. Isabella won't give in very easily. She puts up a fight against her many bullies, and barely gets through the long school days. She always has her two best friends by her side; Aubrey and Breanna. They help her push through all of the terrible parts of her life and create little rays of sunshine on the days she needs it most. Her crush on Luke gets deeper when he starts talking to her. She gets on the website she created, Famystique, and chats with a stranger that claims to be her age. She knows she shouldn't develop feelings for this stranger, but she does anyways. She begins to get her feelings with Luke confused. Does she like him because of his charming looks, or because of who he is? Should she ditch her feelings for Luke after she realizes they mean nothing? Isabella and this stranger happen to be vacationing in the same town over summer break, so they meet up.
