Winter North was an eighteen year old girl with ADHD, anxiety, and bruises everywhere. She has a bad home life, and has been abused by her family for eleven years. She is a dancer with dream to be something larger than the poor and pathetic child who can do nothing about her life. She feels broken, in two pieces.

Lennin Barrera was an eighteen year old boy with good looks, athletic and a future ahead of him. He has a normal life outside, and seems to have everything planned. However, everything on the inside isn't normal. After loosing his Mother on his birthday one year, it felt like his whole world had come to an erupt end. Even with everything looking up, nothing can repair the damage that's been done. He's shattered, unable to fix the pieces.

Lennin and Winter seem like an unlikely pair, but if they both are in pieces, what happens if they mend each other, and turn their broken pieces, their two pieces, and make them one?

His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
