Izaya Orihara doesn't drink often, but today there was a special occasion. And by special occasion we mean a tragic reminder. Reminder of his past, the lies, the broken promises, the responsibility, and the absence. Today happens to be his birthday. Usually birthdays are supposed to be happy like 'hey you survived another year or you are a year closer to death so live everyday as your last'. But for Izaya his birthday meant get drunk the night before, get pills from Shinra to avoid a hang over, and then continue to drink through his birthday and eventually pass out. Then forget the whole day even happened. But this year the universe has different plans.

This is a BakuDeku Fanfiction 🔞. Katsuki tries his best in surviving, keeping it together till the end and Izuku tries to live through it all before finally giving in and leaving all that he loved, behind. Katsukis world comes crumbling down at the revelation. An accident took place in the far north of Japan, where an abandoned lab had exploded due to the mixture of deadly chemicals. Humans no longer ruled the top of the food chain. Hundreds of thousands of kids, adults, teens, and elderly have been devoured and killed in cold blood in just days. In their sleep. In schools, hospitals, playgrounds-- by giant beasts. That's when they knew that the only way to live, was to survive. At least, that's the goal to Katsukis new life, but what better way to do it then face everything and go at it alone?
