Growing up, my life has always been completely centered around the Army. My father is a respected and well known General, and is nothing short of a true hero. My mom raised four boys and me, the youngest of five and the only girl, through all his deployments. My brothers grew up to be just like our father, and are proud soldiers. I've gotten too close to life in the Army, and I desperately need to move away from it. I'm not good at this thing people call love. There's something that scars you about growing up and constantly saying goodbye to the man you loved most in this world, not knowing if he would ever return.
