A love affair suddenly developed between Ink and Error when they were in high school, but at the time Ink was dating Dream, so in fear of getting caught broke it off with Error and as it was their last year so as soon as they left, Ink and Error lost all contact.
Almost five years later, they meet again but under different circumstances. This time, Ink is married to Dream and Error is a single parent to his and Ink's child called PaperJam. Ink, though, had a child with Dream. How awkward will things be between these two?

When Ink is exploring the au's, he stumbles upon a new au where he meets a new friend named Nightmare. The both of them create a close bond, and Nightmare explains how the villagers mistreats him and how they treasure Dream. Ink knew Dream for awhile, but Dream never mentions Nightmare. One day Nightmare had enough of the villagers and ate the apple of negativity and leaves Dreamtale empty. When Ink comes to visit Nightmare, he sees that everyone is disappeared, and so did Nightmare. Not mention Dreams new and unusual behaviour towards Ink.
