Cyrus carries many heavy burdens - he's only a junior in highschool and already accepted as one of the most powerful superhumans on the planet. The mantle of "Superhero Protector of New York" has recently fallen from his dad onto him, and he's trying to live up to the expectations of a true legend.
While new monsters, sly criminals, and supervillains stalk the streets on a daily basis, devastating cybernetic technologies have been sweeping the criminal underworld. Crimelords have grasped at power for decades, but nothing has altered the game as much as Cyberware. On top of that, an old arch-enemy has unexpectedly returned and proven he'll do anything to desolate those who get in his way.
Every day is a busy venture for Cyrus, who has to juggle his superhero duties with highschool, friends, romance, and family. Meanwhile, dark memories keep creeping in on him, threatening his mental stability. Struggling to find a balance and not be overwhelmed on all fronts is rough, even for a teenager who can bench-press buildings.

I'm not like wonder woman, supergirl or catwoman. The only similarity we share is that we all have an extraordinary ability and are females. Many people would say having superpowers was a gift from god and the best thing that could ever happen to you. But not for me, being able to freeze time was more of a burden, because I couldn't control it and it had the worst timing to appear. I also didn't think about being a superhero and rescuing the world from the bad. The only thing I want is to be left alone and get over with my last year of high school. I didn't mean to fall in love with my brother's best friend. Kingsley Pierce has been my enemy since he befriended my twin brother in first grade. Who constantly tugged my pigtails at nap time in second grade? Kingsley. Who was to blame in fifth grade when an entire bottle of glitter glue just happened to pour onto my head? Kingsley. There are the Generics (like my brother and me) who have heightened senses, strength, flying - basic stuff really. Then, there are the Advanced. The Advanced have unique and powerful abilities - like being able to control spiders or the elements. My brother refuses to acknowledge his powers, instead insisting he can live a normal life. I, on the other hand, partnered with the government to rise up as Tri-City's hero when the last one disappeared only two years ago. Despite being all by myself, I've put away more Advanced supers than I want to count - never losing a fight. My undefeated streak comes to a screeching halt when a new super appears out of nowhere.
