"Oaths and Vows and Prayers, all things said before Gods and Kings and people called our betters. They're all Just words. They're all just promises. They're all just meant to be broken."
Ser Jaime Lannister, The Kingslayer.
Lady Megara Emrys, The Silent one.
A girl from a House with more power than any other - but the least known house and the last people left thriving in the Shadow Lands Beyond Asshai. A girl who had never spoken a word, a girl no one knows much about, a girl shrouded in mystery.
A boy too old to be called a boy, with more blood on his hands then he nor anyone else could ever wash off. A boy known everywhere in Westeros, Essos and even the northernmost points of Sothoros, but yet still not known by anyone - not even his sweet sister.
Two people joined together by a deal they had no part in, two people on two different paths that seem to twist and wind and bind together by forces beyond their control. After all, in the wise words of house Emrys; None of us can choose our destiny.

*Obviously I don't own Game of Thrones, all rights to that go to George Raymond Richard Martin and HBO, I do own Megara though, and her story line. I also own any plot changes you might notice when reading the story, characters I add, or events I alter. Enjoy!
