A compelling story of queer love, resilience, and self-discovery. After fleeing a troubled past with her sister, Clarissa O'Leary seeks solace in the bustling anonymity of New York City. With hopes of escaping the shadows of her abusive father and a painful childhood, she embraces the city's promise of reinvention. Landing a job she just stumbled upon, Clarissa encounters Jasmine-a fiercely independent woman whose own scars mirror her own. As Clarissa delves into the city's abundance of relationships and opportunities, she finds herself drawn to Jasmine's raw strength and complexity. As their connection deepens, Clarissa grapples with her own fears and doubts, questioning whether she can truly trust anyone or if love is just another fleeting illusion. Navigating a web of new friendships and the lingering echoes of her past, Clarissa must confront her inner demons and decide if she can build a future beyond the pain she's left behind. ⚠️WARNING: Contains mature content relating to drugs, violence, mental illness and suicide, crude language and sexual scenes.
