Tuesday. The afternoon. Zena woke up from her sleep. She was an unkempt mess. Bright sun's radiance brought something to her knowledge. A shimmer reflected onto her body length mirror and the source was the vampire rested next to her. Carlisle laid with his night shirt and breeches on. He had his eyes closed in contact with the sunlight. His hair absorbed the fluorescence; making those locks seem golden white and his skin luster. Her right hand touched his cheek and her rouge lips caressed his own. The goddess kissed an angel. He opened his eyes and gazed into her eyes. She at the halos around his pupils.

She felt like Cinderella, unconsciously listening to an imaginary clock tick with each passing second. Time was of the essence, but she was completely out. She had enough. Justine raised from her seat and faced him, glaring daggers into his fearful irises as she raised her powerful voice. "I didn't think you were that foolish, Dax. You should be out, trying to live again, trying to find why you were given a second chance! Most people don't even get a single one to begin with!" He got up as well, countering her radiance with his. She continued to speak, her breath coming out as cold vapor in the frigid night. "You're wasting it!" she screamed. "You're selfish! Don't you care how it'll affect others? Those who love you?" "Everyone already thinks I'm dead!" Dax butted in, but she didn't let him stop her with a puny excuse. "What about me, huh? Don't you care about how I feel? You're my best friend! And the first time I lost you was hard enough. This time, it's different. There's new feelings that I've recently sorted out," her voice grew increasingly indecisive and conflicted as she spoke on, her eyes wavering. Then she looked at him with such devotion; her robust glare penetrated his soul. "You should be roaming the world, searching for the one thing that could save you! Death is permanent. You should be out finding that purpose, Dax, not here like an idiot staring at some silly girl who thinks a ghost may love her back!" Tears drenched her face, her eyes puffy and red, but mighty and high. He stepped closer, his flickering form barely touching her very real, live one. They bore into each other's eyes, feeding off the other's presence. Still, he refused to open his mouth and respond. "You should be finding that one thing that makes you happy," she whispered, now unable to peer up into his glowing black eyes. He bent down, his mouth just a centimeter away from her ear as he breathed, "What if I've already found it?"

She perched there waiting. Waiting for the opportunity to settle the score between her and her previous owner as she was his property but in order to be even she had to make sure that she ripped him from limb to limb. Out of her peripheral vision she realized that a bird was perching with her as if comforting her. But she did not need comfort she needed to be vindicated. Camea screeched at the bird. The feathers blew off of it as it tumbled 50 stories below. But the thing was dead before it began its descent. A tear of blood trailed down Camea’s face. In the months following Mila’s death Camea came to realize that bondage was in the mind as well as in the flesh. As she wiped her mouth of the blood from her last meal she smiled thinking to herself how much she is going to enjoy dealing with Austen. The monster within Camea allowed three drops of gold to fall the distance to the ground. She was less than human but more than a clone. I always wondered what it would be like to be human. To have a family, to live out of love, and to be loved. But that opportunity passed me. Pining away for something that you can never touch, have, or hold. It is like needing air but being in a room filled with carbon. It is the worse feeling in the world. That is the only thing that I was able to retain from my previous self was my feelings. I can feel everything now. I can feel the world and every emotion in it. Something that is a blessing and curse at the same time. “Forever young, do you really want to live forever?” “I’ll be here forever.”

I barked angrily, as she winced and drops over the bed. "I am Azura, not sapphire!" She seethed in anger with venom in her tone. "Why not? Lie to yourself and when you'll end up screaming my name, we will see who you're," and that said, my smirk turned sinister and my lips molded against her as tears of agony stormed her eyes. She dared to leave me and my son alone. Now she has to pay for our broken selves. He is too obsessed with her. Obsession like this isn't healthy, but love like him will never be found because his obsession and love were her boon and bane.
