No room for failure, an ancient brewing secret, and perfecting magic art.

In a world where magic can only be cast through a vessel, an ongoing battle between good and evil encircles the lives of all casters, whether it's fighting corruption of the soul or ridding evil auras from the world.

After seven whole years apart, Kael Smaradine finally meets his brother who comes with news that Kael will attend the only academy in the world that teaches casting.

Saphir Casters Academy is a prestigious academy that only a select few will have a chance to graduate. To learn how to eradicate phantoms - casters corrupted by their power - Kael leaves his home country for the first time in his life.

Once in the melting pot of cultures, Kael learns what it takes to become a phantom hunter - and the dangers that follow. With friends and enemies alike, Kael must survive his class or face elimination.

Kael believes he's got what it takes to attend the academy, but as his skills are tested, surviving even the first semester of this harsh academy proves to be difficult. And the possibility of elimination strikes too close for comfort.

*WARNING: RATED MATURE DUE TO LANGUAGE/SEXUAL CONTENT. READERS MUST BE 17+* *CANNOT be read without reading prior novels in series* Asher Pryce hides behind a wall of secrets he's spent most of his life building up. How else is the adopted child whose birth parents run a drug cartel supposed to fit in? He's notorious for his overconfident swagger and total lack of patience for bullshit - a master of masks. The one thing in his life he can't fake? His feelings for his best friend's twin sister. When she returns back home after eight years of living in another city, Asher is ready to take their lifelong friendship to another level. Of course, life has rarely worked in his favour. Between the letters his birth parents keep sending him, a run-in with an old enemy that's out for his blood, and his responsibility to protect his adoptive parents from his fucked up birth family, he would only be putting the woman he loves in danger. He may make his living as a fighter but this is one fight he's destined to lose. Right? Aria Hunter has gotten pretty good at faking it until you make it. After getting through an abusive relationship and fleeing to another city Aria is ready to return home years later. Everything has changed, including her relationship with her best friend. There's a constant magnetic pull between them and Aria feels their intense chemistry with every touch and look Asher steals from her. Gone is the once scrawny and irritable ten-year-old boy replaced by a cocky and assertive man that's way too hard to resist. But his looks aren't the only thing that changed about him. When Asher finds himself part of his birth parent's crowd once again, Aria knows this only means trouble. The more she fights to keep him safe, the harder it is to hide how she feels about him. Maybe their feelings for each other just aren't meant to be realized. After all, falling for your best friend is just a cliché. Right? All rights reserved to TheFeveredBookaholic.

Mutants have existed long enough to be properly integrated into society, but not long enough for everyone to have accepted them. Outside of the United States, a hub for mutant immigrants fleeing the oppressive laws of their own countries, fear of mutant syndrome bleeds through the cracks in mysterious deaths, obnoxious court rulings, and social isolation. It isn't all sunshine and rainbows in America, either ⸻ some states are more progressive than others, and it's a constant battle over who has what rights and where. But there is one class of mutants that nearly everyone can agree on avoiding: Class F. The Freaks. For awkwardly tall and perpetually oblivious homeschooler Noah Kirby, all that exists is his house and the little graveyard on his street in North Carolina. When the opportunity comes along to enroll as a first-year at F Class Academy, an up-and-coming school for the most dangerous mutants of the generation, it means opening his eyes to an entirely new world, one where mutant life isn't as easy as he thought it was. Noah has three goals to ensure his start at FCA goes smoothly: 1. Befriend his moody Ability Management partner Amaris, so that they don't both risk failing the class, 2. Get to the bottom of why he keeps waking up surrounded by dissected corpses, and 3. Make it through the year without getting killed by one of his classmates' disastrous accidents. It may sound impossible, but with a dash of optimism and the help of a lot of new friends, he's confident he can make it work. FCA is nothing like he's ever seen before, but it can't be so scary. At the end of the day, mutant highschoolers are just like any other highschoolers... right? [ This story is unabashedly inspired by franchises I liked when I was a kid. I'm mostly writing it just for fun and for my friends to read, but if you also liked stuff like the X-Men, Percy Jackson, and Ever After High, you might have a fun time too! ]

Nova disguise as a boy to enter the military school. If she is discovered as a girl, she will be kicked out. She is desperate to hide from trackers who have been following her for a dozen years. No one would think to look for her in an all-male military school. She hides among werewolves and is one of the very few nonshifters at the school. She catches the new instructor's curiosity, and her identity is threatened. He claims to be her mate, but she knows that her kind don't have a mate and desperately tries to avoid him. If he stumbles upon her true identity, she is screwed. "What are you doing?!" growls his highness, ripping the knife from my hands. It tingles as his fingers close around my wrist. Fresh blood flows from the wound, turning his hands red. Deep throaty sounds, rumbling in his chest. "You hurt yourself," he says softly, pain evident in his voice. I look up and frown. "It's just a small cut," I reply, annoyed. None of the other cadets get this kind of attention. Besides, we have to learn this to pass the exam. "Shhh, it's going to be okay," he says, pressing me close. My whole side explodes with sparks. It tickles me. "You have to stop hurt yourself. Why are you even here? How am I going to protect you here?" he asks angrily. "I don't need your protection!" I shout, pushing him away. I get an angry growl back. Quickly I grab another knife and throws it over my shoulder, hitting bulls' eye. He glares at me, and the room has gone completely silent. That's when I discover that I may have gone too far with the insanely possessive highness, even though I'm grateful for the extra lessons he gives me. Then suddenly everyone hurries out of the training area. Leaving me alone with the growling, red eyed alpha. *This book contains graphic depictions of violence, sexuality, strong language, and other mature themes.* English is not my first language.
