On some levels, high school is just like the movies. You got the jocks, the queen bees, nerdy boys and those in between. Life for Dean Winchester was pretty normal, aside from the fact that everyone was still getting use to the idea of him being homosexual. With the help of his little brother, Sam, he cruised through high school with good grades and no worries. That is until Castiel shows up. By getting to know Cass, Dean realizes that the "high school life" is just a mirage and slowly falls for him. Will Dean and Castiel live by the social norms of high school or will they break the barrier to a new reality?

When Winter Graham moves to South Dakota with Sam, Dean, and Bobby, she finds out her distant friends aren't all that they seem. They're hunters of the supernatural, and now she is too. The brothers are stationary, staying at Bobby's, which means they have to go to high school. In Math class, Winter notices Dean has a particular interest in a guy named Castiel Novak, so she takes matters into her own hands, juggling hunting, homework, and a relationship that isn't even her own. Things work out just fine until an awry incident causes Dean and Cas to go missing after school one day. Soon after, a life-threatening trade may just cause Winter her life, but maybe it's worth it. This story involves Teen!Cas and Teen!Dean, so I suppose you could call it a high-school AU. The story is under major construction, so some parts are going to be a little jagged until i can go back and edit them. It's non-slash, but more on the fluffy side. Sweet fluff ensues, and it's soon after that Dean learns Cas' biggest secret. He is also faced with emotions he has never felt before, especially in regards to Cas. He finds himself jealous and angry when he sees Cas with Luke, and at his brother's suggestion he decides to confront his true feelings for his best friend, and tell him how he really feels.
