On some levels, high school is just like the movies. You got the jocks, the queen bees, nerdy boys and those in between. Life for Dean Winchester was pretty normal, aside from the fact that everyone was still getting use to the idea of him being homosexual. With the help of his little brother, Sam, he cruised through high school with good grades and no worries. That is until Castiel shows up. By getting to know Cass, Dean realizes that the "high school life" is just a mirage and slowly falls for him. Will Dean and Castiel live by the social norms of high school or will they break the barrier to a new reality?

Cas and Dean are seniors in high school and they've been best friends since they were five years old. They know everything about one another, or so Dean thought. Things work out just fine until an awry incident causes Dean and Cas to go missing after school one day. Soon after, a life-threatening trade may just cause Winter her life, but maybe it's worth it. This story involves Teen!Cas and Teen!Dean, so I suppose you could call it a high-school AU. The story is under major construction, so some parts are going to be a little jagged until i can go back and edit them. It's non-slash, but more on the fluffy side.
