A freshman, Kelaina Harmony, hopes to recover from her tragic summer, only to be thrown into living hell; High school. She has to not only battle her social standards, and keep up in her academics, but there's a murderer in town. Not just any murderer, but the one and only, Kellie Killer. Whispers spread about her deceased friend, Sofie, who commited suicide. further and further, Kelaina finds it harder and harder to move on from the horrible truth she so desperately tries to ignore.

Strangely, the world seemed to be against him dying, because you found time kept repeating itself each time he died. You kept murdering him until a sudden epiphany dawned on you, as if you had broken away from the force controlling you. You were a character in a game-a villain who would always kill the protagonist. However, as if the developers knew you were no longer controllable, they replaced you so the boy you were obsessed with would still die and time would never move forward. Hence, you took it upon yourself to protect him. But why does the protagonist seem to be acting strange?
