Adam doesn't know anything about werewolves, he doesn't even know that they exist. So when his close friend, Willow, invites him to a Midnight ball he believes it's just another formal gathering for rich people. It's not.

Allison has been waiting 4 years to find her mate. Each year making her a more twisted and sick ruler. Every year on July, she throws the Midnight Ball, in hopes of finding her mate. When she finds him will she change? For better or for worse?

-------------

"Welcome everyone to the Midnight ball! I wish you luck in finding your mate. May we begin!" Her voiced sung throughout the large ball room. With her sentence finishing, the clock struck twelve, sounding the beginning of the ball with its first chime. At its second chime her eyes met mine. By the third chime she had already lifted up her dress and started running towards me. I didn't know why she was running at me and I didn't want to know.

She had a menacing look in her eyes. By the fifth stroke I had already started running towards the exit. The loud ringing of the bell never ending. I ran, trying to find my way out through the sea of people. As I exited the castle I heard the final chime of the bell. I turn around and as I see the doors closing I see her running towards the door, my last glimpse of her with her hand out trying to grab me.
