It's not easy to fall on your knees and beg for mercy when your prey starts hunting you.
It's even harder when said prey is drop dead gorgeous and keeps catching you once you fall.
Moody and broody, with just enough love to keep you coming back for more.

I laugh and shrug. "Nothing to thank me for. It was for Nicholas."
He smiles over to me as we pass a street light. The light falls on his grey top and this time I can't help but reach out and touch the outline of his tattoo. He jerks his arm away and I gasp and pull my hand back.
"I didn't... I'm sorry." I rush out.
He doesn't respond as he pulls up to my driveway. He just looks straight ahead and I sigh as I get out. This man is a mystery that I would simultaneously hate and love to solve.
I climb out and I barely close the door before my prey zips off leaving me staring at his retreating car with shock plastered onto my face.
