Aimee Mead is the daughter of Chris mead, she has never met her mum. Chris has raised Aimee since he was a teenager. Aimee starts Waterloo road months beofrentge merger, she soon catches the eye of tom clarkson, her English teacher. Aimee is a bit of a wild child and doesn't like being controlled but when tom sees how she is acting, he tries to calm her which angers Aimee.

soon Aimee and Tom embark upon a secret relationship but things get complicated as the merger happens and Chris arrives at waterloo road as the deputy head. With Chris keeping an eye on Aimee, can Aimee and tom still find a way to be together or are they really just doomed?
