This was a really quick and unfinished piece i wrote to help out one of my internet friends with an English assignment, ( which got like a 93 or something litttt) and i think its a little cringey and  the ideas could have been a little better but i wanted to post this since its the only content i have right now ahhaha, so please read if youd like (or not because its bad)

Emi, first girl the Glade has seen. Tougher than she looks and more than ready to prove it. Since day one her and Gally have been at each other's throats. Fighting constantly and not just with their words. (Gally fanfiction which will include smut. It also has an actual story line. Think of it as an AU to the original Maze Runner. It'll mostly follow the main story line with some changes. Mostly focusing on Emi and Gally and their relationship.) ___ I did the stupidest thing and glanced towards the leader's voice. Next thing I know I was tackled to the ground with a steaming Gally on top of me. He went for my face but it was easy enough for me to block him. I had to struggle a little to fix myself enough to roll us. Once I got myself in just the right angle while blocking Gally's random throws I pushed him off me. His hands held tightly on my shirt pulling me with him. We hit a slight slope perfectly causing us to roll a few times. I made sure that when we stopped I was on top. Gally groaned when his head roughly hit the ground.

I reach the end of the alley and turn to face my foe once again, but he remains where he is, still blocking my path but not approaching either. New plan: when he gets close, duck under his arms and make a run for it. Now I just have to wait. Before a minute has even passed, another armoured soldier appears and joins the first. This just keeps getting worse. How am I supposed to dodge past two of them? "What do you want now?" the new soldier grumbles. This one must be Alex. "Look at this cute little human I found. She's feisty. I think she's perfect for you." I glare at them. "I don't want a pet human. That's your disgusting fetish, and I'll have no part in it." "Oh come on Captain," the first soldier whines, "You don't have to fuck her, just train her to be obedient. Surely you can control one measly wild human? You are a captain after all. When you're done, you can just get rid of her, like I do with my humans." What the fuck? For a brief moment my fear is replaced by anger. Who do they think they are, talking about me like I'm some kind of wild animal? "Get the fuck away from me! You freaks!" I screech. The first soldier just flashes an evil grin. They don't budge. "Are you just going to let her talk to you like that?" he goads Alex. (Complete. 70k words.)

It's the only way to survive this harsh new world she finds herself in. Being tough and ruthless catches the attention of one particular builder. He's not one for emotions either, especially in a place like the Glade. He knows something is off, and he does his absolute best to keep order around him and in him, when everything's falls apart. Are these two destined to be together? Or are they too similar in personalities? Are they too broken from their own traumas to work it out? Maybe she likes him. Kind of. Maybe he might like her. She probably hates him. He can't stand her. They don't want the other to know. But maybe they do...a little. Who has time for romance and feelings in a place like The Maze. Life. Romance. Friends with benefits, but make it sad. Hi, This was supposed to be a one shot but it keeps getting longer. So I decided to break it into 3 parts (earlier it was supposed to be 2). The title of the story is from the song "High" by 5 seconds of summer. The image is from Pinterest that I edited. This story was not inspired by any recent events. I started writing it way back and I just don't seem to be able to complete it. I started writing it while listening to "Casual" by Chappell Roan. (I can't believe I wrote about two men while listening to this. I am so sorry.) But pls give it a listen if you haven't already. Also, the story does not exactly have explicit graphic sexual content but some of it and it is definitely implied. So, pls let me know if I should be tagging it as mature. I don't usually write stuff like this. So, I kind of hate it man and it's hard to write too. I don't know if I'll be able to get their dynamics right. Might delete it if I end up hating it even more. I don't know if it's too bad. About the story, it has the usual yearning longing type of shit from my other one-shots I would say. Just make it somewhat toxic and the characters dumber lol. There's some friends with benefits type of situation going on. It also has some flashback scenes in between. I hope it won't be confusing. Sorry about the possible typos and grammatical errors in advance. I tired. I hope you have a good time reading! Always grateful for the kudos and the comments.
