Lily Hawthorne's life has been going absolutely perfect, especially since her sixteenth birthday. She got her act together, dropping out of the practically plastic cheerleading squad, focusing a little harder on her grades, and finding real friends. Surprisingly it worked, much to everyone's surprise. Then she applied to intern at California's best psychology centre, and she got in. Lily partially blamed her favourite fluffy pink earmuffs as the source of her luck.

Everything was going amazingly well until Adonis Holt became her client. She nearly had a mental breakdown of her own. Her school's resident bad boy was coming to her about his problems.

Her luck has just gone down the drain.
