Don't Let Go-- A Nalu Fanfic
The cliff's jagged edge was painful underneath my fingers and the sweat under my hands made them slippery. "Lucy!" I heard a desperate man calling my name. One of my hands slid from the perspiration and dropped by my side. "Natsu!" I screamed back, swinging from the edge. I looked down and saw a dense fog obscuring my view of the bottom hundreds of feet below. Suddenly my other hand slipped and my stomach dropped. My body flew from the cliff... I was falling. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ It's another normal job for Team Natsu when they head to a far off land to kick some evil butt. But when something goes wrong and Lucy is taken, Natsu and the rest of the guild is distraught. When we meet again
"Natsu, you make me happy. And I don't know how I could've gotten through this week without you. Even with me not being able to speak you didn't plead with me to get me to talk or force me to talk. I took a shaky breath and looked at him with pleading eyes. "I don't know how I'm going to get through how ever long it is until I see you again. Please convince your parents to come with me! A week later after being taken in by the Dragneel family, on Natsu's thirteenth birthday, Lucy's sister Michelle comes to take Lucy home with her to Paris to live with her and her husband. Lucy stays in Paris, only keeping in touch with one friend during her four years there. On her sixteenth birthday, Lucy finally moves back to Magnolia. With Natsu heavy on her mind, she gets a job and begins attending the same high school as Natsu. What happens when they get assigned to be partners on a school project after not speaking for four long years? And finding out she just happens to have gotten a job at the same place Natsu works? Will their love blossom as quickly as when they were twelve? Or will they never be meant to be with each other ever again.
