Abstract 101 is about a world where people are able to unlock traits, personality traits but to a level of utilizing them as power which is unique to the person themselves. Not many can unlock this ability but those that can are hunted and thrown into a place called Abstract 101 and enrolled in a school for "special people". You never know the difference from this world and yours until you are awakened...Our protagonists soon find that this is not a place they wish to stay.

She learns that she is one of the few that feel the ferliobog species' pain, one of the few that can communicate and hopefully save a misunderstood species. A gentle creature, that means no harm and only retaliates to protect itself, turns her world upside down and sets her on a journey of self discovery and character testing. An encounter with a special type of people sparks a determination that cannot be swayed, and from then on she vows to protect and to help the creatures, before things get out of hand. Will she be too late to save both humans and ferliobogs? Or will one species die out at the expense of the other?
