Celethuil gazed out across the sea of trees and Ents in Fangorn, his moss green eyes squinting as he spotted his Captain of the Guard, Thilion, ensuring that their borders were safe. He and his people had managed to stay hidden for thousands of years. Not even the supposedly all-seeing eye of Sauron knew where or who they were. Celethuil's only allies were the elves he governed and the Ents that protected them.
However, he acknowledged a stirring in the air. Something was changing. The King shifted his gaze toward the tower of Saruman. An uneasy knot settled in his stomach as he stared suspiciously at Isengard. He knew the White Wizard had a plan brewing, and he knew it would bring a time of terror to the world. For he could feel the draw of the ring, calling to him from afar. He could smell the stench of orcs in the misty air around him. War was coming. And there was nothing he could do to stop it.
The King whistled lowly to his Captain, mimicking the trill of a swallow. Thilion raised his head and met his King's eyes. "Send your brother to Mirkwood. Take yourself to Lorien. It is time we make ourselves known to our kin".

✨Book 1✨ "We move to reclaim Erebor." Mithrandir stated. Halidien stilled, looking at the back of Mithrandir. Crossing her arms over her chest, "I will not be helping the dwarves. They can go on their own." "They will need your guidance and your ability to fight." Mithrandir said, stopping and turning to her. Noting the sour look across her face and the frown playing at her lips. "No, Mithrandir. There is a dragon in that mountain and unless you have an army, none will survive. I will not die fighting side by side with dwarves." Halidien growled, she would not run from a fight but walking to her death was not something she would do either. And what did she owe to the dwarves, to be running into a mountain with a dragon? "I wish you would have agreed. Halidien, you will go." Mithrandir insisted. "And why would I do that? The dwarves can handle their own problems." "You owe me, and once this quest is over that oath will be fulfilled." He explained, causing Halidien to pale. Hundreds of years ago, Mithrandir had saved her life and she had made an oath to him to help whenever he may need. But the idea of him forcing her to fulfill the oath for this, seemed ridiculous to her. A/N I do not own any character other than Halidien and maybe more if I choose to add more. Gandalf threw me a strange look, but I kept it down - there was no way I'd talk about whatever he was thinking about talking to me with, when a hobbit and a human were in the room with us. "I took it as my fourteenth share of the treasure." Said hobbit replied, and when the wizard's face finally found another target with him and smiled softly, I felt relieved at the fact I wasn't being so closely monitored by his eyes anymore. "Why would you do this? You owe us no loyalty." Have my ears been tricked by some spell, or did he really say 'us'? OR Thranduil answers Bard's call of help when he asks for it, and learns that he isn't quite as heartless as everyone thought him to be.
