Charley and I are crossing the basketball court to join today's meeting when the realization hits me: There aren't two open chairs for us. There's just one. Everyone looks up as we approach, including whoever is filling my usual seat. Holy shit. I turn to Charley wide-eyed. "I tried to tell you," he mutters under his breath.
