They are all gone. All of them, save one.
I spent the last few months of my life as Colette, child of the Sea for I had no other family to call my own. I had no other name to give. Lost into the waves of the Ocean a Royal ship found me and brought me to their King. They gave me my health, home and hearth, they enveloped me into their lives as one of their own.
And Emory, oh Emory. He is all of that and more. My heart, my home. He is the compass that guides me and the light that shows the way.
Though fate has other plans for me, a black path. The answer to my identity was far worse than anything I had feared and with it came more questions that cannot go unanswered as terrible as they are certain to be. I know now where I come from, now I know what I must do. Leave the home of my heart and return to the home of my birth. An empty crown on an empty throne.

"I looked into his soul and stared Death in the face. I welcomed him, and he enveloped me in a cold and bony embrace." Note: I'm excited to say I am almost done with the second book. I decided to release the first complete chapter. I hope you enjoy it and I look forward to hearing your views. The style of writing is quite different from the first book, I trust you will find it much better. So, please enjoy the first chapter and as soon as the others are ready you will be the first ones to know. Thanks to all who read the first book. I appreciate it. Enjoy!! P.S: Sorry for the way the first book was jumbled into one long story. I promise this time, there will be order. There is always room for improvement.
