I walked into lucas's house with two state fair tickets for our one year anniversary, i started walking up the stairs to his room but stopped when i heard a voice coming from the guest bedroom , it was lucas's but he was talking to someone, I walked closer to the door trying to hear what they were saying
"She's getting to close to finding out"
"I know dad it's just-"
"It's just what huh, you like her or something" the other voice said cutting lucas off
"Yes dad i do like her" lucas said quietly
"Dad? He said his dad died before he was born" i thought in my head
"I SAID NO GETTING ATTACHED" his dads voice boomed through the house making me take a step back and step on the dustpan on the floor making a big cracking noise

The "Please..." I hear her whimper and I go into full panic mode. "Calm down, okay? Deep breaths. Don't hang up. I'll be with you soon. Where are you?"
