When James Potter II and Fred Weasley II, renowned pranksters at Hogwarts are offered a mysterious prank object by a stranger, they can hardly refuse. But when this mysterious object throws them back in time over twenty years to a time when their parents are their own ages, they discover that they have dangerously used a time turner, a device that has been banned in their own time by James' own father.
They must find a way to get back to their own time. But why should they? They have their family here, even the ones they've lost.
