Akikta, the last living remnant of humanity, outsmarted death; he's all that's left, which wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the state of Earth. After twelve millennia, life moved on and now the surface is dominated by evolved sentient sea life. To add insult to injury, practically all non-mollusks, more noticeably, mammalians, have gone extinct. Even if that makes him an endangered species, it does not deter him from his ultimate goal: to save a loved one who was thought to be long lost. With his only form of help being guidance from a mysterious man on a radio, Akikta will do whatever it takes to bring a piece of his family back and survive in this new era. Even if that means making himself out as an enemy.

With Inkopolis in such a state, the people will find their heroes in the form of two octoling brothers, Sal and Cal. Both have no redeeming qualities, and neither have achieved an admirable feat. They're a bunch of nobodies! Yet, they're Inkopolis's best shot at restoring order, as well as weeding out the sinister evil that lurks within...

The sequel to A Special View. If you haven't read that book already, what are you even doing here? This book takes place right after the last chapter of A Special View, and the first thing I'm doing is clearing up some plot holes from that chapter. Event wise, humans have returned to Earth. But there is more to these creatures than it meets the eye. Can the heroic agents of Splatoon save the day yet again? And can these creatures cope with this new world they're thrusted into. And if these two races meet, will they bide in friendship, or will someone go splat? "P.S. Splatoon 2: The Sunken Stories | (#2) The War For Inkopolis by SaltlessPepper

This story is a direct sequel to the first Sunken Stories. If you haven't read the first part, then go read that before you even start reading this... This story follows an inkling named Jet and an octoling named Coral, who have teamed up with The Squidbeak Splatoon to take back Inkopolis from the evil Octarian Order, which is led by DJ Wasabi (or Echo, as Jet calls him). During all this, Coral is also searching for her long lost sister, who went missing because of the Octarians. Aiding Echo in control for Inkopolis is his right hand man, Glitch, who is a powerful hacker created by Echo. Not only that, but Echo has hired the assistance of two sibling bounty hunters. Will the Squidbeak Splatoon take back Inkopolis or will The Octarian Order seize complete and total control over Inkopolis?
