Rhea is the Greek Goddess also known as the Mother of the Gods. She is the mother of the elder Olympians and wife of Kronos. Myth says that Kronos swallowed all his children, but Rhea hid Zeus away and protected him until he was able to defeat his father. She is also said to have been a protector and nurse of Dionysos, who taught the mysteries to Dionysos, thus Her mysteries are often conflated with His.
