High school had ended and today marked the first day that someone would leave for college. We had a party the night before. We danced and drank like the world was ending. In our case, that's what it felt like. It felt like there was no tomorrow, because there wasn't. Not together, at least.

It's summer - the end of my first year of college. And I am home again, more than a little worse for the wear. College hadn't gone how I had expected it to go.
