Foxes are interesting animals, very sneaky. If you were walking in the woods, there might be a fox very close by and you would not know it. They are clever and will not show themselves unless they want to. They stay hidden because they are afraid, and when they are afraid, they become very bold. A fox might try and attack if it is afraid. This may seem very odd, for if you are afraid might hide rather than fight. And yet, foxes. It is very possible to be timid, but bold. This is the story of a red fox, scientific name: Vulpes vulpes. This red fox happens to be a female, just a couple of hours for age. Her name is, Amber. Amber is the youngest out of a litter of 5, she is the runt of the litter, and it is very unlikely for a runt to survive it's first month after birth. But Amber makes it, barely at first. But she might just end up being the only one to survive. Amber's life is far from normal. Read to learn the story of, Amber!
