All My Love

Natasha James and Leah Schroder had been best friends since 2nd grade.

They did everything together, from the time they were 8 up until they were 18. Life was one continuous wave of love and laughter, and they rode it together on the same surfboard.

They were inseparable, and they knew it.

Of course, no relationship is perfect, and Nat and Leah eventually fought over something that would become a life-changing event. However, instead of working it out, Leah moved to the other side of the state, and Nat stayed behind. They haven't talked for 8 months.

Then, one Saturday, Nat gets a letter. A letter from a used-to-be best friend, a letter from a girl that is still very much in Nat's heart. But Nat never answers.

Still, the letters keep coming every week, and Leah keeps giving Nat all her love.

Until one week there's no letter, and Nat is left with a difficult choice to make.

....Remember when we jumped off West Point Bridge together? You didn't want to do it, but I made you. We had to blow bubbles underwater so we knew which way was up. Then when we climbed out, we realized that my swimsuit bottoms had come off. You laughed at me for the rest of the day.

I still haven't found them yet.

Maybe we could do that again sometime, except I was thinking we could do an even higher bridge. And yes, you have to come. I can picture you rolling your eyes right now, and that's so not working for you. I'll let you know what bridge I choose when the time comes.

Hope you're still surviving first year of college. Kenna said you are, but I couldn't be so sure. She's always been a liar, just like me.
