She's quiet, guarded, and barely keeping it together. Celeste Moran is a girl just trying to survive high school while taking care of her five younger siblings. With all of the responsibility laying on her shoulders, there's no time left for herself-no time to dream or even explore. He's an outgoing, curious, and adventurous boy who's simply passing all his tests with A's. Josiah Danvers, the school's golden boy, seems to have it all-the freedom and the never-ending sense of wonder. As they both live their very different lives, their worlds unexpectedly collide. Josiah begins to see the girl no one else has bothered to take notice of. Celeste starts to question if there is so much more to the world outside of her family even if life really sucks sometimes. Maybe she'll even realize that life really is not so sour.
