This is a story about a she-wolf who's name is Maia, she has been looking for her mate for years, but she doesn't trust people because when she was 7 or 8 years old she had an abusive family member who beat her all the time, but when Maia finally had the chance to run and get away from her abusive family member, and when she did run away she never looked back. She eventually enrolled in a public school named Georgia high school.

What will Maia do when she realizes that Christopher is her mate? Will she try to avoid him and not trust him or will she let her guard down and tell him everything about her past?
