Living on the streets is hard, but even harder when it's the year 2561 which was during an apocalypse caused by a large asteroid landing on earth with an explosion. When Alyssa's mother kicks her out of the house because of Alyssa being trans (MTF), Alyssa's life changes drastically. First of all, she has to fight for survival on the tough streets of The Great Apocalypse. Life becomes easier though when she meets Lily Aster, an Irish lesbian who identifies as butch. Carter Rose then introduces Alyssa to Sage, Angelina and Ophelia, all of them runaways or girls who where kicked out of their homes like herself. Now they are all "women of the streets", a term used for runaway and disgraced women of their time. Together, can they survive in a world destroyed by an apocalypse? Can they make the world a better place for LGBT+ youth? And will they all make it out alive?
