Over ten years ago, our world as we know it was attacked by a deathly virus. Some survived, some not.
    
     Those who died somehow came back, but not as humans. They were something else. And they were corrupted, feeding on the pain and despair of the living. That's why a Brotherhood was formed, fighting against the dead and protecting their people. So the dead scattered, hiding in the woods just waiting for some fool to walk past them.
