So Close, So Far

16 year old Eliza Harper seems to have it all together, despite the reality of her home life, and the fact that no one seems to get her. She begins to grasp that running and drawing make her feel more alive than anything else could ever. Before anyone can blink an eye, her mom dies of a drug overdose, and three days later her father kills himself. Eliza and her 10 year old sister, Amelia, are put into the foster care system where they begin to go in and out of abusive houses until they're split up. Eliza is determined to get the only part of family she has left back. Follow Eliza on her road of self discovery, love and adventure as she travels the country trying to find Amelia.
